My Favourite Influencers of 2024

So I consumed a lot of great content last year, yes I was on my phone a lot. But, I came across some absolutely amazing content creators who are extremely fun to watch.

The following list is not in order :

BlakeOfToday

Blake is probably one of my favourite content creators just in general and I am genuinely grateful for stumbling upon his page. He is famous for his "this week in fatherhood" series of reels where he accounts almost everyday with his children and sums it up with a learning. Why is this interesting? because it is fascinating to see how poetically this guy structures his thoughts about daily tasks. I actually enjoy his normal random reels more than series due to lack of relatability, the way he talks about songs, situations, experiences, interviews, and connects them to something truly deep and meaningful is amazing. He gives an insight on the human experience by somehow relating these things to a profound thought and this has created this kind of cult among his audience that resonates so much with his content. I might not be doing justice to his work and so you should definitely check it out.

GarretFromGoldies

Great energy guy from New York who goes to rate diners every single day on his hit series "Diners Diners & Diners". The dude takes his food and ambience so seriously which makes it really funny to watch, you need to watch it to understand the inside jokes and entertainment value of these reviews. Sadly the show might end soon due to the possibility of USA banning Tiktok this year. Excited to see other content from Garrett but DD&D will genuinely one of the most fun content series I have come across.

Schoonerscorer

A very cool page someone told me check out, its just this guy from London going from pub to pub, scoring different kinds of beers or "schooners". It is short, it is simple, it is effective, it is fun to watch. It is extremely fast paced, doing the whole review in 60 seconds including the quickest chug I have ever seen - which is why it also works. Also people looking for cool pub recommendations in London, this is the page for them, but sitting in Mumbai, I personally love it because of the way he scores Guinness which happens to be my favourite beer in the world.

"What the fuck is this?" is the only question you're going to ask yourself after seeing any reel on this page. It is the most random thing in the world but yet so very entertaining. There is absolutely no sense to this guy's content but you need to appreciate the level of effort in producing and editing each video, it is insane. I will not say much because it truly cannot be explained by anyone what this is but it is a unique way of storytelling that you should check out.

AmericanBaron

Baron Ryan is a writer and storyteller that makes short films and long form reels in the form of scenes that focus on a deep human emotion/problem but delivered through something specific and tangible. If you are a BlakeOfToday fan then you will probably also love AmericanBaron. The content is beautiful as it talks about things we all have though about, but he does not necessarily answer these dilemmas directly but rather indirectly by actually hinting that yes everyone has these problems, what're you gonna do you know? He is quite a Ted Mosby personality if you have watched HIMYM, I find his delivery very unique and refreshing and the writing is really good.
